Freda began studying music at 6 years of age when she became jealous of her older brother who had started taking piano lessons. Lucky for her this started a wonderful trend as she began taking flute and vocal lessons a few years later. At 14,she began writing song lyrics to which she slowly added melodies and now only in her 20's she has accumulated a catalogue of over 350 song lyrics with catchy melodies to over half of them. She has released many of her songs on different Canadian Compilations. The focus of Freda's career has been in the local dance music community based in Toronto, Canada. She has performed in numerous dance clubs across Toronto and Montreal and has performed at numerous fundraising events -something she is well-known for. She has opened up in concert for Columbia Recording Artist Alexia - the Europop sensation from Italy - during her Canadian Tour and now Freda is ready to move forward and follow her own dream as it would be a shame to keep her from the rest of the world!
