Frank Booth got started around the summer of 2001. A three-peice band from the suburbs of Washington, DC, FB started out as a couple of friends jamming informally and eventually solidified into a legitimate band of skilled and idiosyncratic musicians with strong, catchy, well-written songs and an extremely energetic and impassioned delivery. We love nothing more than to play our music and we want to take it as far as it will possibly go and reach as many people as possible.

Frank Booth's style is not that easy to catagorize. It mixes different elements of 'alternative' (Nirvana, the Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins), punk (Black Flag, AFI, Dead Kennedys), metal (Black Sabbath, Metallica, Tool), and different aspects of pop and classic rock. Our sound is varied but on the whole very intense and melodic. FB consists of Michael H-Y on guitar and lead vocals, Ross Kerr on bass, and Rashad Polk on drums and backing vocals.
