Founrdry Avenue was formed in 2000. It did not take very long for the band to develop a large localized following. With the intense stage show and dedicated crowds, FA has become one of the most sought after bands at several of the higher profile clubs in the regions they play.

Foundry Avenue is a funk-metal based band from Western Pennsylvania. Influences range from punk, funk, rock and blues rhythms. The band uses its complex vocal harmonies (3 part), power-riff based originals and catchy licks to perform a wide range of original and cover songs. By shows end, FA has proven time again that crowds are at the bands mercy begging for more. With a huge array of modern and vintage covers plus originals with instant mainstream appeal, the simple truth is FA puts on a show that audiences won't soon forget. FA members are as follows: Chris McGinnis is the power-voiced front man, Joe Ranochak on lead guitar, Ryan Suley on bass guitar, Kris Betz mans the drums, and Tim McGinnis runs the keys. All members have had a lifetimes worth of experience around music. The bands average age still remains at a young 22 years old. With this blend of talent and dedication, FA has created a distinguished sound that not only displays the bands raw talent, but a sound that also possesses instant mainstream appeal.

Foundry Avenue has grown considerably for a band less than two years old. Recently signing on with a promotional agent, FA is expanding and opening it's doors to the music world. Right now the band is looking to expand it's borders and make the next step in their musical carreer. Things are looking up.
