FORGET THE HEROES: A pop piano and a funky violin, two jazz voices, a groovy bass-drum duet with electronic programmations for compositions and improvisations Pop’n Funzz...

Corinne Carre: Words and musics, voice, piano and keyboard.Virginie Bocher: Violin and viola electro-acoustics.Sebastien Tanquart: Drums.Philippe Henner: Bass and double-bass.Fabienne Della-Moniqua: Choirs and Percussions.

Immersed in jazz since her birth, it is during her teenage years that Corinne begins to compose with the means at her disposal... Immediatly stands out a special identity by the non conventional shape of the pieces but also by the choice of the instruments (piano and strings). Finally, english will be her predilaction language.With Virginie first, Sebastien, Philippe and, at last, Fabienne are created a sound and unusual arrangements (Mephistopheles). This atypical group works from that time to forge an original pop (Everybody’s got to die), singulars orchestrations on tunes with funky influences (My number)... and chooses a new name: Forget The Heroes...Six tracks are recorded and mixed in autumn 2005.
