Well it all started on a rainy day in August of 2002. 4 friends came together to form what has come to be knownst as For Hire. The name which was thought of by Dave, because he and the others all needed jobs, you know, to have money.

For Hire consists of Mike D. on lead guitar and lead vocals, Dave B. on rhythm guitar and backing vox, Chris C. on the bass stylings and MC most of the set, and rounding it out and providing the crazy nutso beats is Matt O, probably the person with the most musical knowledge out of the whole.

The band was on its way to certain quasi-fame after playing their very first show at the Grange Hall in Burlington infront of about 200+ people. They were well recieved, though they were the opening act.

The band is currently(as of Jan. 2003) on a planned break. During which time each will hone their skills and practice individually, Matt(drummer) will also be purchasing a new drumset. Look for them again in late Feb./early March.
