Final Exhortation was formed in July of 2005. Consisting of four of its original five members, they’ve expended greatly in their musical style, musical talent and reputation for giving an amazing show. They are quickly becoming one of the most looked foreword to bands in the White Rock/South Surrey/Langley area. If they have a show near you you’ll want to go.
Final Exhortation consists of: Jeff Bobyk-Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar + Dominic Alvernaz-Bass/background Vocals/Screaming + Austin Jorgensen-Lead Guitar + Tyler Hakesly-Drums + Chris Smith-The man they so graciously give too much credit to for what he does/Techie/Roadie/Idearizer/Webmaster (you’re too good to me!) Final Ex lost their keyboardist to his stubborn parents, so they will be on a search for the perfect fit for a long time, it won’t be able to replace their old keyboardist, we all hope that someday he will be able to rejoin and enrich our lives with his keyboarding skills. Each person in the band has grown up into Christian families, and are proud of their love for God, they seek to spread Jesus’ love through their music and they examples they can set for people all around the world. Their Style is technically Post-Hardcore, but they’ve gotten creative, and decided to do some heavier stuff and almost seep into the genre of Metal, but not quite. They also do some softer stuff, and the occasional heavy rock song; they don’t like to be held back by genres.
Final Exhortation’s first concert was in front of an enthusiastic youth group, it was great for a first show. Their first CONCERT was at their church, completely promoted by themselves, with over 200 people coming to see them. Final Ex hopes to find themselves on a record label like Ferret, Tooth and Nail/Solidstate, or Victory someday. Keyword: Someday. All the members of the band are still in Grade 10, except Chris and Austin who are graduating this year. They are destined to live for music. God has blessed them so much in their first 8 months, they don’t plan on letting the life of music get to them, they are going to live and play for God and the blessings will continue and people will love their music.
