This funk/jazz/rock octet delivers nutritious grooves that should always be part of a funky breakfast. Reminiscent of such groove giants as Soulive, Greyboy Allstars, John Scofield, and Deep Banana Blackout, Filthy Children deliver action-packed funk that's sure to move your booty like a dynamite suppository. These young Denver-based musicians bring forth a variety of musical backgrounds and influences coalescing into the hip funky sounds of Filthy Children. They first hit the stage together in November 2003 and since then they have been laying it down all over town. Some events they have played include; Summerfest in Milwaukee, LoDo Music Festival '04 and '05, Capital Hill People's Fair '04, '05 and '06, Highlands Street Fair '05 and '06, Copper Mountain's Ride for the Cure, Minturn Concert Series, Kremmling Fourth of July Celebration, South Park Music Festival and numerous weekend gigs at venues such as The Fox Theater, The Gothic Theater, Conor O'Neils, Herman's Hideaway, The Soiled Dove, Herb's, Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom, Quixote's, Dulcinea's, Blue Mule, 1515 Market, Caldonia's, and the Belly Up in Aspen. Fate has brought this group of filthy, misfit all-stars together, and their large and quickly growing fan base are a testament to their grand performances and appeal.
