Fenix Phoundation was formed in 1997 by the brothers Chris and Jon Toth, Nik Stanisic, and Chris Fridley. Jon Toth left the band in 1998 and the band now consists of Chris Fridley doing vocals, Nik Stanisic on guitar, and Chris Toth on drums. The bands main influences are the Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Dave Matthews Band, and Yo La Tengo. The band recently released their first CD recorded at Break Even Studios in Columbus, Ohio.
