FallBack was formed in the spring of 2003 when two of the members got bored during school one day (as we all do) and decided it would be a cool idea if we started a small local rock band, to play gigs and appear in the school's talent show and such. The first year the band had a lot of trouble getting off the ground, with one of the four members going to a different school, scheduling practice times was difficult. Also with the fact that no one knew who we were we had a great lack of support and lack of fans. In the bands second year however, the band gained some fame at school, moving us to the most popular band at that school (also increasing the band member's popularity). The band now is praised as 'the best sounding band in Muskegon' and they are constantly being begged to play gigs for the school itself. Also with the help of the 'parent band' Bermuda Triangle, we hope to branch out and begin playing larger gigs with a variety of audiences. Up till now we have stuck with playing covers of the most popular rock songs. Anything from 'Superman' by Five for Fighting to 'Come as you are' by Nirvana. We are currently working on writing our own songs and hope to cut a sample cd by 2006, though with our busy schedules, that will be a tough goal to meet.
The band consists of 4 main members. David Breed on bass and occasional vocal backup, Jeff Engel on drums and lead vocal, David Wilson on rhythm guitar and vocals, and Josh Kell on lead guitar (the band also had a 5th member for a short time, Kyle Karum on keyboard, but due to personal reasons had to leave the band). Although none of the four of us have had any training or lessons (except Jeff Engel who regularly appears in Bermuda Triangle) we have a great sound that matches or is possibly better than any popular band out there today, all we need is more publicity.
