ETOILE NOIRE was born in 2000, starting from Ferruccio Milanesi (bass) and Pasquale Scotti (voice) -both playing in neoclassic dark band ANIMA IN FIAMME-, searching for an intense and passionate way to show their darker and stronger emotions, to play rock music without barriers.

In February 2000 Augusto Maiolini (guitar) and Pierfrancesco Mandolese (drums) joined the band, giving their contribution to create a personal style: due to the different backgrounds, the result is a Rock band with dark, stoner, punk and metal influences, often defined by magazines as 'Gothic Rock' or 'Horror Stoner'.

In June 2001 a new drummer, Alessio Sica has joined the band. In September-Ocrober 2001 the band has released the 5 tracks promo 'Sleeping Black Eyes'.

It has received many good reviews in all over Europe and USA and the band probably will issue soon a full lenght album.
