Ether came together in 2004, a mix of different countries, (Canada, Sweden, England), with a mutual love of electronic sounds, loud guitars and pop sensibilities. Soon after forming, Ether started playing free parties and a handful of bizarre venues across London, (dragon Bar, Area 10 festival, Rendition).In June 2005, Ether played a well received set at the NXNE festival in Canada, following this Ether were asked to headline the high-profile after party at El Mocambo, (a venue made famous following an incident with Keith Richards and the wife of the canadian prime minister!!).Summer 2005 saw Ether head to the studio to write and record material for 2 EP's, set for release early 2006. The focus is now to play a string of shows leading to christmas in London/Ether are a hardworking, ambitious band. Thirsty for success and ready to take on the world
