End It
Band Biography

  • From: Detroit, MI
  • No. of Members: 4
  • Year Established: 2000

End It was formed in May of 2000 and currently consists of Mike Palm on vocals, Gabe Hardy on guitar, Mike Nastasi on bass and Greg Mastin on drums. Determined to revive the riff heavy, old school thrash/speed metal sound that all of its members grew up on, this side project quickly developed into a full-time band. Three months after forming, the band was in the studio recording demos that would later be released as an EP simply entitled, “6 songs.” Shortly after, three new songs were recorded, mastered and released, along with songs from the original recording, as the “Keep Swingin’” EP. These three new songs were mastered by Peter In De Betou, famous for his work with Entombed, at The Cutting Room in Sweden. Around this time, came an offer from an independent label, Atarms Mechanics, to release the demos as a full-length CD. Not content to release only 9 songs as a full-length, the band returned to the studio to record three additional songs, bringing the final track count up to 12.

The title of the CD is “Meet Your Maker,” and will contain all of the bands recorded material up to this point. The CD is slated for an early August release on Atarms Mechanics and will be distributed through No Idea Records. End It have shared the stage with national acts Electric Wizard and Warhorse, and are scheduled to open for Disengage in August. In addition, the band is heading out on a short east-coast tour with Small Brown Bike in September. You can contact the band at endit@angelfire.com or visit their website, www.endit.tv.
