Eluding Hattie started in January 2000. We are comprised of six men from the northern New Jersey area. Employing complex riffs, quick rythm changes, blaring horns, and vocal harmony, Hattie produces a wall of sound that is both choreographed and improvisational. Thier talent is reflected in their diverse repertoire, which ranges from soulful ballads to driving funk.
The band consists of Frank Pico on lead guitar , Jeremy Fojas on rythme guitar, keys, and percussion, Jay fritzsh on drums, Jimmy Delesio on Lead vocals and trombone,Kevin Hamilton on vocals and trumpet, and Matty delay Karner on the funky bass. Some have training some dont.
Eluding Hattie is still a rather new band to the scene. Headlining at places like Kenny's Castaways and The Elbow room in New York City and various bars and shows in New Jersey, Eluding Hattie has begun to build its empire. With a following of art decco folk to the spinning hippies that decorate the floor, Hattie will be coming to an area near you fairly soon.
