El Trio was born by chance... just like a love story! We know each other for a long time even if, because of some reasons, each one of us went through a series of different musical experiences. In the second half of the 70s we played the Disco Music with a live band which counted nine musicians. We also had a brass section as at that time it was really a technical necessity, but today it’s just a fashion. With the accession of the DJ’s (in the beginning of the 80s), the live bands for disco dancing suddendly and unaccountably disappeared, to the advantage of those “disc layers” who surely were much more cheaper and versatile than a live band! So, we fell back to play Italian folk music. Afterwards, we perfomed at Piano Bar’s and later on we formed El Trio.

El trio are: Luca - lead & background vocals, guitars, mididrums, proggaming, arrangements. Lando - lead & background vocals, keyboards, midibass, arrangements. Fred - alto & tenor saxophones, arrangements, vocals.

Nowadays we are able to perform any kind of musical entertainment. This is thanks to the experience we gained in being constantly present at so many “battlefields”.

Results are tangible because our spectators always enjoy and we are so proud of that.
