Founding members Marty and I (Ben) have been writing together for eight years when we both lived up on the Sunshine Coast. We got together with the other guys who were mutual friends from other projects and formed Ej moped in early 2001. We have been busy writing tunes and playing around the city over the past year and a half. We have recently finished our debut EP Good Reading, which will be launched on January 10 at the Alley Bar, Milton. We are looking forward to touring down south in 2004 to promote the EP and spending the last half with our follow up full length album. We are at present a fully independent band who has funded and organized our recording and pressing ourselves. We also are self managed and do all our own promotion work ie graphic design, printing, web site inhouse. We are pretty self sufficient. =)
