ELMO were formed in 1998 after a lengthy search of Glasgows finest...Comprising of professional musicians and general dossers,ELMO have a creative team to die for.With the core of the band being guitar based,there is yet so many colours within the ELMO experience.

ELMO consist of Neil Thompson on lead vocals,guitar and piano,George MacGregor on lead guitar and backing vocals,Billy Coupar on bass and Ian Barclay on drums.With Neil and Ian studying classical music at University together,the standard of songwriting is far above many of their contemporaries.ELMO also boast a 4-Piece brass section,Cello and Percussion to create that ultimate live experience.With Neils unique vocal prescence coupled with his innovative brass arrangements,ELMO have a live package guaranteed to impress.

With the completion of their latest Scottish Tour in October 2000,ELMO have now a substantial following throughtout the whole of Scotland.With regular Television appearances under their belt,ELMO have an air of confidence and maturity to their music,and once you see them live,you can see why.
