  • Year Established: 2003

36 Million Light years ago on the Dark Moon of Planet Tone in the Sub Solar System Toneulous a strange sound was emitted from a gastronomical anomaly in the planets thin crust. Propelled by the super heated atmosphere of planet Tone, the sound waves rocketed past Tone’s outer ring. Leaving Tone’s magnetic pull, the wave began to change its oscillating shape and became more dense and lower in frequency causing this small disturbance to gain even more speed. Now traveling well over the speed of light, 186,000 miles per/second, the wave began to pick up sub atomic particles that were fastly building onto this inter planetary traveler.

Years later, on the terrestrial planet Earth, operations at the mountain top planetary listening center in Arecibo are running normal. Operation commander Lieutenant Shred sits down to enjoy some coffee and the paper. As he sips the hot coffee it burns his mouth and spills onto his paper. Shred looks down to the coffee soaked paper at the front page headline. Thousands witness strange disturbance in upper atmosphere. Scientists say: “Most likely caused by a inter planetary sub sonic transmission that ripped through the upper atmosphere” Moment’s later Shreds attention was caught by the vast panels of instruments in the lab going into warning mode. Shred looks at the computer screen as the seismic graph explodes to the top of the screen. “Something is coming!” Shred yells. “Shhh…listen” as Shred puts his ear to the cold lab floor. “Do you hear that?” Shred asks the other observers. “No we don’t hear anything.” Suddenly the ground begins to rumble and the observatory shutters with a loud low frequency groan and then all was quiet. No more alarms or shaking. It appears all is normal. Except maybe for Lieutenant Shred.

It seems that since this encounter that he is somewhere else. Just an empty shell drifting between inter planetary dimensions. When asked about his unique experience Shred just stares, empty at first, And with heart felt conviction exclaims- “ I have heard .”

After months of rehearsing and recording, EL84 appeared from within the confines of their studio to begin booking shows and promoting the band, fiercely. EL84 began by building a large fan base that stretches around the world via the internet. Reaching 10's of thouands of hits per month EL84’s song’s began to top the independent music charts. After performing at several local clubs in the San Francisco Bay area to perfect their show, EL84 started seeking radio and TV promotion as well as large format performances at halls and fairgrounds. In January of 2005 (EL84's 1 year anniversary), EL84 started their radio promotions by performing live on Wild 94.9’s “Dog House” with 2 million plus listeners and was the first rock band ever on this station. On Memorial Day Weekend, EL84 joined forces with 107.7 FM The Bone to bring millions of listeners a live EL84 performance from the Hotel Utah in San Francisco. EL84 also has radio play on KSCU 103.3, 91.7 fm Radio- LA, USCU and several UK FM stations and a few compilation CD’s around the world. Now with the completion of their new single, One World, as well as 2 chart topping video's, EL84’s popularity is growing full steam. Recently EL84 signed deals with TRG Motor Sports and Blue Coast Films. As you will hear on EL84’s demo CD/DVD (included), EL84 has a very diverse musical catalog including hard rock, blues, fusion and even some metal and jam band type music allowing them to perform in almost any setting or venue as they can perform a heavy set, mellow lounge set or both. What you won’t find on their demo is vocal harmonizers, pitch correction or any type of synthetic band aids as this demo was produced mostly live in their rehearsal studio and has received huge reviews even earning Soundclick.com’s Hottest Track of 04’. 'With a mad mix of Rush and ... well ... Rush, EL84's 'One World' is probably one of the most rocking tracks I've had a chance to hear since reviewing here at HitClick. These guys are definitely'Arena Rock' -- great movements, changes and performances make 'One World' a strong candidate for whatever kind of award HitClick gives out for this kind of thing in the future. In a strange, strange world of dark politics and the looming cant of war, 'One World' is an epic rock sentiment to the sweeping changes taking place in the world today- Ladies and gentlemen, please get out your lighters and prepare to rock.
