Hide your good whiskey and lock up the livestock; here come the Drunken Deacons! Hailing from Indianapolis, the Drunken Deacons have quickly become the premier hillbilly blues bands in the Midwest. With a dynamic flair for kickin' out the honky-tonk good times a Drunken Deacons' show can be described as Animal House meets The Grand Ol' Opry. Their love of whiskey and motorcycles is surpassed only by their desire to entertain. Kick your heels to the best original hillbilly music north of the Ohio River, or ride along as they pay tribute to the music legends that paved the way for their upbeat rebellious style. You can hear the Drunken Deacons every Friday night raisin' cain during the Hellbilly Happy Hour at the Melody Inn. They'll make ya laugh, they'll make ya cry, so slick your hair back, throw on your best duds and treat yourself to a heapin' helpin' of the Drunken Deacons.
The Drunken Deacons are Deacon Sean Neal on vocals and guitar; Miss Kimmy vocals; Smokey Joe on Pedal Steel; Zorba on guitar; Uncle Tom Knapp on Drums; Uncle Joe on Drums; Cousin Rich Trimble on Doghouse bass.
