In June of 2004, Kevin and Ken searched for a drummer on baltimorebands.com. There we found Jimmy, under the 'others' section of members wanted. Then, Bob, also from baltimorebands, listened to some music we had posted. Bob had the drive, passion, and rough vocals we were looking for.If we had to describe our sound, we'd have to say 'A very hard driven set of groove oriented Modern Hard Rock. Not that we sound like but 'some' of the bands that make up a small part of our musical roots are: Black Sabbath, Helmet, Chum, Tool, Karma to Burn, PANTERA, Down, Kyuss, anthrax, m.o.d, Overkill, Anhilator, Exodus and Dream Theater.

Driveset consist of Bob Wolfe on vocals, Ken Pedersen on guitar and backing vocals, Kevin Pedersen on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Jimmy Zane on drums. Each individual has prior musical ventures and consist of rock, alternative, emo, metal, progressive, and jazz. Blending these infuences have gave Driveset an unique but accessible sound.

The year 2005 has been the come out year for this foursome. Constantly gaining the interest of more fans and radio stations alike. They strive to keep the ultimate live show for thier fans with the thumping drums, deep grooving bass, crunching guitar, and rough vocals.
