Dragon Fire's musical style falls somewhere into the category of 'pure unadulterated aggression and power'. Formed in early 1992, Dragon Fire since the beginning has gone against the grain of their local music scene, playing and writing only what they want, Ignoring all of the fads and trends that have came and went over the years, refusing to play whatever everyone else does simply because it's what's in style.
Dragon Fire's sonic onslaught is powered by monstrous drums provided by Steve Stuckey, thunderous bass supplied by Eric Shumac, Chris Peters' edgy guitar riffs and guttural vocals of 'Robo' Ron Riley.
In Nov 2000 Dragon Fire won the Internet polling contest on Farmclub.com by receiving the most votes across the world. They were given the opportunity to play on stage at Universal Studios and the live performace aired on the USA Network in January 2001.
Since the beginning, Dragon Fire has played hard and aggressive when no one said it was possible, simply because they wanted to play their own style of music, and not appease the demands of those who would stand in their way. Their brand of destructive metal has slammed the doors shut on the myth that you can't get anywhere playing aggressive music, and opened up an all new set of doors for bands of their native home. Dragon Fire's brutal style of music has proved to everyone that metal is not dead, and not only helped other bands, but created a metal scene that never existed in their home town.
