DpK is a Punk-rock, emo band in lakeland florida. They have three members to there band. They are Matt-guitar and lead vocals, Austin-bass and back-up vocals, and Colby-drums and back-up vocals.

The story how DpK came together all started when Colby played the drums in a elementary school play. Matt had allways wanted to start a band and when he saw Colby on the Drums he new he found his drummer. As Colby and Matt begain to hang out with each other they figured out that they had alot in commen. Colby said that he too wanted to be in a band. So they set off to get Matt a guitar. So one year for Matts 11th birthday Matt got an Ibanez acustic guitar. Once matt had his guitar Colby and Matt would allways jam after school. After that they knew they had to get a bass player. They didnt know of any one so they looked to Ryan. At the time Ryan had an electric guitar. So Matt offered to by his guitar so Matt would have an electric and then Ryan could use the money Matt payed him to get himself a bass, and so he did, and the trio was born. The guys got so excited about the band thing they decided to get two of here other friends in it, Sam and Randall. Randall really didnt ! have any thing to play in the band so he just plyed Colbys cousines old turn table.

Having two guitarist and a turntable gave the band an awfull crowded sound and a very rock sound. Matt wasnt into the rock, he wanted to go more for the Punk sound.

So one day Matt decided he didnt want to be in the band any more. He went on trying to find some more bands to play in but there wasnt any. So Matt decided to go back to Colby and start over as before. So again they set out for a bass player but they didnt know of any. So they got Ryan again, and DpK was born! The trio set off playing in ryans gearge and trying to get ready for future gigs. But one day Ryans bass broke and Ryan deciced he didnt want to bye a new one. So Matt and Colby got Bass Man Austin.So after all the changes DpK was officially a Band!
