The members of DownPour hail from Hawkinsville, Georgia. The lead singer, Jamie King, guitarist, Don Sinyard, bassist, Lance Mullis, and drummer, Jimmy Noles have come together to form a youthful and engaging band of showmen. With a versatile repertoire that includes “Weezer”, “Blur”, “Smashing Pumpkins”, “Creed” and their own compilations, they have a sound for everyone. The main aspect that sets them apart from most acts is the purity of their energy. Their full, warm sound and playful approach to performance gives them a good rapport with the audience.

Jamie King has a voice that is pleasant and gives character to the lyrics. Both Don and Lance have a handle on timing and tone. Together they feed off each other exactly what they need. Jimmy can jam! He’s loud, proud and wants you to hear it! All four of them enjoy the creative process and it shows in their performance.

DownPour was formed in August 2002. Consisting of four members, DownPour has expanded itself musically and geographically. DownPour is quickly becoming one of the bands that you just have to see to fully understand what we're about. We take nothing for granted and strive in everyway to improve and provide what we find most enjoyable in life.

The last 7 months have been really busy for DownPour. In addition to opening for several of Georgia's premier rock bands, Downpour has been in the studio recording a new cd.
