Dixon is the stage name for Robert H Clark, originally from Elkhart, Indiana, by way of the Air Force and relocation ended up in South Florida. Dixon has been performing since high school in bands and various show choirs. His self debut album went into stores in the regional area of Indiana in 1991. Dixon took his talent to Korea after separating from active duty, where he eventually ended up on a Korean TV program, liken to American Idol, singing a Korean pop song. After some time not professionally performing, after a middle east deployment in 2006, Dixon was created. Dixon continues to finish his first CD/Itunes release which will be some time in 2008.Dixon has been getting very good reviews from all venues as he performs his original songs off of CD 'In No Time Soon'. Dixon usually performs alone for a full set of originals or covers. He also performs with other musicians such as a saxophonist or others that lend to his crafty rhythm guitar style and smooth adult contemporary/alternative/jazz voice range. He has been invited to perform at various international events in the upcoming years. He has been invited to a nationwide tour in Summer 08 to be a headline performer of the Guys with Guitars (GwG) tour.Dixon's song 'In No Time Soon' received honorable mention an a 2006 Song of the Year contest. His songs continue to impress listeners. Recently composed 'Airman's Reign' has been accepted as a possible addition to productions for the Air Force Band in Washington D.C.
