Destroy Elroy started about 2 years ago. The guitarist and the drummer have been together since then but got a new bassist about a year ago. We have played a lot of places around altoona, hollidaysburg, and tyrone. We do all originals but one or two covers. We constantly work on our songs, making them the best we can.

Destroy Elroy is Jarrod Spinazzola on guitar and lead vox, Sam Edgar on bass and back-up vox, and Jeremy Bickel on drums. We are mostly classified as pop punk.

Our first big show together was Teenfest 2002 in altoona, PA. There was a really huge crowd of around 1,000 people and they all liked us alot. Before our new bassist Sam, we had only a few shows because we didn't have many songs ready at the time. So when Sam joined he made it so easy to make songs and everything just fell into place from there. After teenfest, so many shows started getting booked and now we are at the point where we are playing with so many great bands around here. we have played with Nevermoure, Punchline ( our best and favorite show yet, those guys are awesome), Fallout Boy and A week in july.

Playing in this band is something we all want to do for the rest of our lives. We practice so much, at least 4-5 times a week and we put so much time into our music. We really hope to make it big and turn this into a career.
