BIOG...Denied Sons of Iglesias are a four piece guitar band from Edinburgh and the surrounding areas made up of James Urquhart (Guitar/Vox), Richard Brown(Guitar/Vox), Calum MacKinnon(Bass) and Malcolm McCue(Drums). The band have been writing and recording together since Spring 2004 and have been playing live regularly since early 2005.

Taking their influences from a long list including Pavement, QOTSA, The Pixies & Dinosaur Jr they play melodic, left-field guitar rock backed by driving rhythms and with two contrasting vocal styles.

Gigs in both Edinburgh and Glasgow have been gaining the band a reputation for their live performances and also attracted the attention of the press with features in the Edinburgh Evening News and The List’s Autumn Music Special. The last year has also seen tracks from their first two demo CD's played on Beat 106’s Beatscene and Radio 1's Session in Scotland.
