De Lions of Jah Reggae Band is upbeat style reggae dancehall with more conscious reggae-matic rub-a-dub roots music, with the wicked combinations of Da General singing.

These 6 band members have been working with each other one way or another for the past 10 years. We started De Lions of Jah about 2006. So for the past 2 and a half years they have been working steady together and performing well.

General Dave a native of Antigua brings the true name to life. With his intense aggressive chanting, General performs to the highest of standards. On Bass we have LinkyMan, Linky been playing the bass for 7 years, keeping the positive vibe and living as a Rastafarian, Linky is a true SolJah. Our multi-talented keyboardist Natti Chris lays down the Rasta rhythm that keeps De Lions roar in. On the Rhythm guitar we have Stirling. With Stirling’s unique style and dedication he is a true Lion at heart. Jeremy adds a funky style to De Lions. Growing up in Gainesville Florida in the music scene Jeremy wanted to follow his heart and play music. Jeremy moved to Boston, MA to study music at Berklee College of music. That’s where Jeremy learned his funk. The heart beat of the band on the drums we have Desmond Cancer, AKA Skins. Des is a native of Charleston SC. We did have a major change in the band, in the middle of 2007, when we let go of our percusion player.We finished our first CD in 2007. We are working on our second CD now. It should be finished the end of June.
