Day Far Away is a pop punk/screamo band from Hudson, Florida. With such influences as Blink-182, Finch, Senses fail... This makes DFA's music much more different than most local bands.

Meeting in 2002, Steve and Sean decided to start a band, Sean played guitar and Steve played bass. After a year of almost doing nothing they decided to get serious and write music to start recording. December 29th 2003, DFA went into the studio and recorded their fisrt cd: 'Naked Skydiving'.
