Coming from some of the finest back porches in Appalachia, these boys have paid their dues and delighted us more than one time. Officially formed in 1995, The Davisson Brothers Band, with their back porch pickin’--high-energy shows have entertained a wide-ranging audience, performing at bluegrass festivals and state fairs to concert halls and motorcycle rallies. One thing is certain though, wherever it is they play — everyone will inevitably be dancin’ up a storm and stompin’ their feet. The band’s home base is located in Clarksburg, West Virginia and they have been touring the region from New York to Florida, playing 300+ shows a year with vast following of fans and new ones made day after day. Dedicated to expanding their talent and unique sound, the band is currently writing fresh new songs that blend Appalachian roots amid blues, country and rock, fused with down-home appeal. The Davisson Brothers Band has shared the stage with national acts such as The Allman Brothers Band, Warren Haynes, Leftover Salmon, 38 Special, Rusted Root, Larry Keel, Tony Rice and Peter Rowan just to name a few. Having had the opportunity to play among some of the best acts the world over and getting a chance to hear what they have to say has given these young musicians the inspiration to continue their climb up the ladder. Above all, talent and work ethic along with the consistent, high-energy shows prove that hard work and dedication does payoff in the end.
