David has been performing music in some capacity for over 10 years. This includes performances with bands, solo performances, studio work, and choral memberships. Music is something that has always been a part of his life. 'My whole family is pretty much musical. My grandpa used to make all kinds of acoustic instruments in his basement. After I learned how to play guitar several years ago, it was almost like a challenge for me to learn as many as I could.' Today, David can be seen playing a slew of instruments including guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, mandolin, mountain dulcimer, hammer dulcimer, and harmonica.

Today, David's music can best be described a modern mix of acoustic rhythms, and personal challenges. Some of his musical influences include Bruce Cockburn, Mark Heard, Rich Mullins, Dave Matthews, Nickel Creek, Cold Play, and Caedmon's Call.
