Dave Of The Universe is singer/songwriter David Tatelbaum. Currently bassist and back-up vocalist for The Collisions, Dave also served as a member and co-founder of Boston's own infamous and now-defunct Big Gladys from 1990-1999.

'Lowering The Bar' is Dave's first solo CD, released in 2002. The arrangement is simple...guitar and vocals...and shows off Dave's skills as a seasoned songwriter and emotive vocalist. The lyrics are lucid yet poignant, the melodies smooth and intentional, swirling gracefully around carefully crafted guitar rhythms.
