After more than a decade, Dangerous Goods continues to rock the party every time they hit the stage.
In the early days, during the course of countless jams, weddings, halls and house parties, the band had written many unique original songs. By 1995 they were gigging regularly and hosting a weekly jam at Pancho's Cantina in Calgary. The original music went over so well that they decided it was time to head for the studio to capture it on CD. It was first promoted on Shaw Cable's Mobile Music Machine, broadcast live on television from The Back Alley nightclub and later on another appearance on the Shaw Cable 'Stampede Rocks' stage. The band toured around western Canada promoting their disk in such blues hot spots as Bud's on Broadway in Saskatoon, Blues on Whyte in Edmonton, Buckingham's, Wildwood Brewery, in Calgary and even opened to a sell out audience for Matt Minglewood in Calgary at Dusty's Saloon.
The Goods have also had limited radio airplay on CBC, CJSW, CKUA in Alberta and a few stations as far flung as St John's, Newfoundland and New Plymouth, New Zealand. Appearances on A-Channel Television's 'Big Breakfast Show' and the Official CKUA '72nd Birthday Bash' party, along with many other local shows have helped to build a dedicated following.
With more focus on popular hits for their great live show, this experienced band is in top form and is more fun than ever!
