Dana Monteith performs what has been called 'Truck Stop Love Ballads', cosmic American tales of love, loss, and redemption. Using his voice, guitar and his plywood tap board and the ocasional guest musician Dana spins songs from the dark side of town to the stay up late early morning hours.
A country twang with a bit of psychedelia. 10 years on the road with Ominous Seapods, a stint in the Upper Hudson Valley and back to Hudson Ave. His songs are an open book of experiences drawing on the everyday juxtapostions of what we thought and what was actually happening.
Dana is currently at work on a new CD with Chris Fisher (formerly of Conehead Buddha) tenatively titled 'Afterglow' Look for it fall 2002.
