Dan Sharp Band was started in 2004 by former 'The Stanleys' member Dan Sharp. The music started as a solo project and quickly Dan realized he wanted to work with other musicians and enjoyed the team aspects of a full band. The search began and in early 2005, Dan Sharp Band started full rehearsals.

First to join was Lead guitarist Paul McGwiure, Former Strange Occurance guitarist. Pauls experience on the stage, on the road, and in the recording studio have been a great addition to the band, 'He suprises me daily with the ideas and sounds he comes up with' says Dan. Next to join was bassist Jair and drummer Hector to the project. They where in another band together and had both played with a wide variety of projects. They bring a tight and creative rythm section that already works like a well oiled machine, heavily influenced by The Dave Mathews Band, the rythm beds are moving and creative.

After 4 months of rehearsals, Dan Sharp Band is beginning a new recording project and booking shows for the summer and fall. Their live show is moving, energeting and takes you on a very enjoyable ride through emotions and energy. IF you get a chance to see them, don't miss it.
