In the Fall of 2001, Andrea Dagmar Brown ('Dagmar') put together a band of the best musicians she knew from her years performing in the Washington DC area. She called it Dagmar and The Seductones.
Audiences love her vibrant stage presence and the band's unique rockin' sound. Watchable, listenable and danceable, Dagmar and The Seductones are pure entertainment! Since their first performance on December 27, 2001, they have treated crowds of all ages to their special brand of hi-energy rock'n'roll--and their versatility has taken them from concerts to clubs, from swing dances to barn dances, from rock'n'roll weddings to private parties, from fab festivals to hip honky tonks.
Whether they’re stripped down to guitar, upright bass, and drums, or adding a second guitar, sax or keyboards, The Seductones will set fire to the music as they reach right down to the roots and rave up some red-blooded rhythms while Dagmar’s vocal stylings will take you from the dance floor to the stars above with her sultry, soaring sound. Together, Dagmar and The Seductones make high-voltage, vintage rock and roll. It’s roots rock with a thrill!
'Little Bitta Love,' Dagmar and The Seductones’ debut CD, was released in 2004. Containing 12 tunes, it features a sonic spectrum that ranges from rock-solid originals, stompin' rockabilly, real rock’n’roll and classic ballads to heartbreaking blues. The TYM Records release has received airplay and enthusiastic reviews from the USA and around the world. Look for their second CD, to be released in February 2007.
