Drive was formed in january 1999. Consisting of four of its original members, IT has expanded itself musically and geographically. What started out 6 years ago has greatly grown and matured. It is quickly becoming one of the bands that you just have to see to fully understand what there about. We take nothing for granted and strive in everyway to improve and provide what we find most enjoyable in life.

Drive consists of Ken Slager on Keyboards and Backing Vocals, Luke Lee on guitar, Patrick Drive on Lead Vocals/drums, and Al Gian on bass. Each individual has had prior musical training and consist of classical, rock, groove, progressive, country, psychedelic, and blue-grass styles. All this mixed and carefully blended to give the distinquish sound of Drive.

Adelaide Australia is the band's current headquarters, and a nice following has developed there. Drive has performed at the well-known Governor Hindmarsh.

Drive are currently writing and recording their debut album, due out mid 2005. Ken Slager is excited with the progress and says '....It's our best work to date and after we settled with the current lineup of musicians, it has just been full steam ahead! It's come together so simply it's been unbelievable. Patrick Drive has penned the new songs for the Album, and they rock! I think most bands make the mistake of trying to fit into a market, and that if you write from the heart, then that's the good shit! Can't wait to get it on live...........'
