Don't Remember was formed in the fall of 2004 by 3 members of the former band GRIND: Scott Philipp on vocals and guitar; Josh Brown on bass guitar and backup vocals; and Tony Schiavo on drums.

In the late 80's, Scott Philipp was originally the lead singer of the nearly-signed, nearly-(but never quite)-world-renowned band 'Silent Reign', playing venues such as The Galaxy, The Tower Theatre, and Dick Lee's with the likes of Cinderella, Brittany Fox, and Bon Jovi. He was more recently lead singer for Yerzetersaz, and singer-songwriter for 'GRIND', a band which started as a cover band, but was pointed towards original music; his songs, together with the talents of the other members, made 'GRIND' among the most popular and talked-about bands in the area. He continues to write fresh, original songs for Don't Remember. Josh Brown, on bass guitar, previously played with the band 'GRIND'. On acoustic numbers, he plays rhythm and occasional lead, and has come up with several of the new songs Don't Remember is currently recording. Tony Schiavo, the percussionist, has been around, playing percussion with Scott, in numerous previous bands, including 'GRIND'. His driving style and experience help to shape an appealing envelope to the music of Don't Remember.
