DJ Spidey, a one-man unit out of Lawrence, KS, has been producing music for more than a quarter of his twenty year life on this rock. Between working as a club DJ and running his own production label, 74 productions, he has experience in production, sound engineering, marketing, and song writing. With a foundation in turntablism, he fuses elements from hip hop to rock, and everything in between by both recreating the sounds on his turntables and using live instrumentation. In his music, he can make you dance, relax your soul, or occasionally wreak havoc. Lyrically, he promotes positivity and love for all.

With little to do in Kansas while growing up, DJ Spidey began playing on his turntables at the ripe age of 14. Soon after, he began remixing music. He has done remixes of rap stars such as Dr. Dre, Snoop, Busta Rhymes, Bone, and the list goes on. He began composing original music soon after this. In 2000, he moved to San Diego, CA where he wrote and recorded the demo album ‘Find Myself.’ After moving back home in 2001, he reworked some of the tracks and released an EP called ‘Self Found’ in the winter of 2001.
