Crizzy and the Punx are a 3 piece rock (with heavy punk, reggae & ska influences) band based in Tampa Bay, FL. CatP has performed at the 2001 Atlantis Music Conference, the 2001 97X Next Big Thing (featuring 12 national bands including Sum 41 and New Found Glory), a pre-show at the Ice Palace for Blink-182, and the 2003 Southeastern Music Conference. On July 3, 2003, soon after they finished the recording of their second full length CD, bassist Dirt Hooligan was killed in an accident outside a Bay Area nightclub. The CD was titled '13' in his honor, as it was his birth date (Dec. 13) and number that was tattooed 'jersey size' on his back. Dirt Hooligan was voted 'Bassist of the Year' and '13' was voted 'CD of the Year' in the 2003 Orlando Punk & Ska Awards.
Crizzy and the Punx will resume touring once a new bassist is found.
