Condemned to Suffer began as guitarist, Ron, and drummer, Jared, playing together and bringing members to the band. They went under many names and through many members, until finally settling on Dead Thoughts On A Living Mind with Ron and Kevin on guitar, Geoff on bass, Jared on drums, and Joe and Mike on vocals. Soon after the recording of 'What Angers You, Controls You' Kevin left and Mike went from vocals to guitar. They recorded two demos with these members, and played a few shows. Two weeks before recording their new album, Mike quit the band, and the remaining members changed the name to Condemned to Suffer. In the coming weeks the new album was recorded, and the band brought on experienced guitarist, Mark, who played in many other bands ranging from psychedelic rock to death metal to industrial metal to black metal in genre. With the new line up, Condemned to Suffer went on to play shows and gain a fan base, which continued to grow at an accelerated rate due to air play on Philadelphia's 94.1 WYSP. The band is currently working on new material for their next album.
