TOPIC 1: First 30 Minutes Analyzed ...artist often misunderstood, although expresses uninvited hints of reality, (ie: facts, interpretation, time, and mind) ....all viciously contorted. ...only to be understood or enjoyed with personal opinion. ...displays undying disregard for the 'norm'. ...full poetic muse lost and wasted in a fury of digital/electronic soundscapes. ...altered state of mind resulting from dynamic intensity and visual impact. ...warned: 'overuse may cause rash, swelling , loss of appetite, and bowel irregularity'.
TOPIC 2: Second 30 Minutes Analyzed ...to say nothing changed, would be absurdly hypocritcal. ...constant flux of performance energy causes hypertension, slight dizzness, and mild euphoria. ...artificial type awarness, almost nightmarish, as if being tapped into your last nights dream. ...universal attitude and feelings with other audience members. ...nervous system alert; body twitching, eyes unfocused, mouth open, cannot look away ...settling trance vibes and drones
TOPIC 3: Final 30 Minutes Analyzed ...peace comes from subliminally low sub bass, groaning vocals, electrobeeps and tweeks. ...showing no fatigue, as though the gear being used is actually controlling the artist. ...freeflow jazz and melodies corrupt trance, again causing irregular heart activity. ...explosive exit filled with destruction and release of unexplainable chaotic dynamics. ...encore is out of the question, stage and equipment become inoperable as sounds die off. ...feelings of deja vu after show, artist has a way of relating to something deep inside.
i saw Cirket Burn at a fairly well equiped warehouse type club, the sound system was adequate for producing the low bass and loud enough to be understood. i would imagine seeing CB in a venue without a decent PA system might not be as appealing to the senses, although still, any chance you might get to see this performer would surely be worth your while. i didn't know what to think of the stage setup at first...turntables, variety of noise makers and handheld recorders, computers, mixers, and some crazy cable system that appears to connect the performer with all his apparatus all added to the mystery, and was later understood. the audience appeared to have enjoyed the show as much as i did; freaks, beats, dancers, ravers, white collars and bar owners all the same... no negative comments from anyone, yet reaction was high. unique show kids...CB takes your mind for a ride into itself, must see to appreciate the fact that this is THE modern interpretation of a one man band and that there is very few people expressing themselves in such a way.
