Modern Rockers Chrome Yellow set fire to their homegrown style of Rock'n'Roll.'a tasty refreshing mass market sound' says Focus magazine of Chrome Yellow. They let you know right from the moment they step onto the stage that they came to rock the house.
The songs are a combination of funk driven groove rock and modern hard rock... a la George Clinton meets Creed with a just a touch of Linkin Park (scratching and sampling courtesy resident DJ Surely T). The vocals are deep, rich and sweet with a dark mysterious quality that draws you in like a 25 year old scotch. The central Florida based band has mixture of influences ranging from hard rock, funk & R&B to classic Allmans and Stevie Ray that somehow comes together to create a new sound.
It is proving to be easy to like, judging by the enthusiastic reviews they have garnered for both the CD and the live show. 'This is entertainment' says Gardner. 'We are here to entertain you, and we will'!Brad Koester of CDStreet says 'I'm most impressed by the woven tapestry of rock styles. Excellent production values and musicianship. Beyond the scene as FM knows it.'Performing Artist says ... 'a very deep powerful voice. When Charlie sings, people listen'.Singer, and one of the band's songwriters, Charlie Gardner says 'People these days think of rock as dark, but I think our message is positive and spiritual'.
