Breaking the conventional rock band format, Chris prefers the intimate settings of his one-man acoustic shows. With a sound and personality that is unmistakably his own, Chris creates camaraderie with his audience, inviting them back for more. With a distinctive acoustic rock sound, Chris performs both his original songs, and a variety of uniquely arranged cover songs, depending on the venue's needs.
Originally from Tarkio, MO Chris developed a love of music early in life. Listening to his two older brothers play guitar created a desire to play that would not be satisfied by listening alone. At the age of sixteen Chris picked up a guitar, and can’t seem to put it down. In 1992 Chris attended a one-man acoustic show that inspired him to create his own and has largely shaped the direction of his music since.
In September of 2001 Chris was afforded the opportunity to travel to California to perform rhythm acoustic guitar and backup vocals for Brian Bateman’s debut CD, White Lie, (engineered by Guy Charbonneau for Le Mobile remote recording studios).
Chris’ debut CD, Paradise, was released in the spring of 2002 to much acclaim. Two years later in the spring of 2004, with a little help from some friends, Chris released his sophomoric efforts. A comedy CD entitled The Nebraska City Trailer Park Chronicles. He is currently working on his follow up CD due for release in the spring of 2008. In the meantime Chris has just relocated to Omaha, NE where he continues to perform his one-man acoustic shows.
