Cavitora is a project comprised of Jim Santora (vocals) and Steve Cavico (guitars). The Cavitora goal is to bring back the 80's 'pure rock' sound.

Cavitora was formed in late 2003. Santora and Cavico played professional wiffleball together. After some conversation, they found that they had similar interests in music and in a band. Santora has been the vocalist of the bands Hideous Heinous (where he also played bass) and 1000 Swings, which was a solo project. Meanwhile, Cavico was playing in the band SMD, which has played locations like the Stone Pony in North Jersey.

Cavitora is working on tracks for a full length CD. Hard Rock Anthems and Heavy Metal Fury is what drives this project and Cavitora is ready to take on the world.
