In 1996, Casual Man's two frontmen met eachother at a concert and became good friends. THey started writing songs and jamming together but couldnt find a bass player or a drummer. They ended up purchasing a four track recorder and handling all the instrumental duties on their own. THeir first demo tape which included their 2 main hits debuted on campus radio (CJAM) last year and recieved a brilliant listener response.
Casual Man continued recording tremendous anthems and brilliant rock ballads until one day the got a nice litte break when a bass player heard their song 'What The World Needs' and said that was the exact sound he was looking for. Theyve since met up with a drummer and are working on their tremendous live show.
The band were originally called Scorpio In Venus which in the world of astrology describes someone extremely passionate, lusttful and preoccupied with sex. Very shortly after they made a mutual agreement to take on the name Casual Man instead.
