Carry The Mouth has been together for over 2 years, developing and maturing into an established pop ‘n’ roll outfit.
The diverse song writing styles of brother and sister combine to produce a unique collection of songs guaranteed to stay with you for longer than the 30 minutes it takes to forget so many other bands. On stage, the band deliver no-nonsense performances, mixing up-tempo foot tappers with unhurried harmony fuelled showstoppers – on and off in 30 minutes – a welcome splash of colour in today’s highly manufactured music industry.
The Nottingham based band’s exposure to large crowds at venues such as Rock City, De Montfort University (selected to play by Turin Brakes), and the Victoria Inn (supporting the Libertines) has injected them with the confidence to try new things and deliver them with a swagger. Working with Tony Foster (Spiritualized) on singles ‘Love Thy Neighbour’ (recent winner of national digital radio station Storm FM’s ‘Band of the Week’) and ‘Time Kills’ was a big step for the band, but one that they took in their stride.
