Crop hails from Dodge City Ks. the Cowboy Capitol of the world. They were formed in 1995 and have 3 of the original 5 members they have changed Bass players many times hopefully to have found the right guy for the job. They have expanded the horizons to try to make more original sounding music then from the oldskool metal days were they came from. Playing anywhere they can to provide the most invigorating show possible. the 5 and a 1/2 yrs they have been together they have learned alot about the music Industry and found though it's not a pretty place to live they still strive to call it home.
The band currantly consists of Steve Randall on a Gibson Explorer Guitar. Justin Winrich on the Ibenz seven string. Jim Killian On his DW drums. Dave Bush on a Ibenez 5 string Bass and Scott Leonard on the throat sings through what ever is laying around that makes noise. Each member played in various bands in the area to bring the true desire to survive and strive to there own brand of hardcore metal.
The year 2000 brought alot of bass player changes as I mentioned and alot of opperotunitys for the band. they played the Millwaukee Metalfest with bands too many to mention with King Diamond Headlineing it all. They also played with Full Devil Jacket and Static X the year before. They also play with about every metal act in KS. includeing Dead Orchastra Gulch/Hostillity Thinner and many others which they love. They have created a loyal following in Witchita KS. and in Garden City KS. to name a few. There is always a goodtime to be had at a CROP show where ever it may be. You might say the guys enjoy a good party.
All in all the band has come through many hardships and many hard times to see the other side. This place is where the fans come first and the music is hard and heavy hope you see them soon in your town.
