Country Mile Is:Modern Country w/ a Southern Rock kick, amazing lyrical content, smoking lead electric guitar, & a touch of a sweet mandy. Country Mile's original music is not comparable to any other country band unless; you take Diamond Rio + Lynard Skynard + Keith Urban + Toby Keith...Get the picture?
The 5 Boys from Country Mile reside in NW Ohio including Celina, Van Wert and Delphos. Country Mile puts on an event, not a standard show. You will remember this band because the lead guitarist, bass player and lead singer all sat at your table or stood on your bar while playing live (all 3 run wireless). All 5 are young and attractive, not to mention, real people. The guys refuse to 'hide' backstage as they would rather meet people and help the road crew set up. They are all Christian, Country Folk w/ a large drive to make it big. They are simple, yet confident. Talented, yet modest. They will not drink at a performance because they do not want to be construed, ever, as a liability to anyone; including themselves. Every member in this band loves and utterly respects one another.
They take pride in loving America as does Toby Keith. They take pride in writing a controversial song that will make anyone cry because the story is so real and easy to relate to.They take pride in the hard knocks that Tim Mcgraw was succumb to; knowing that the love of music is never in vain. Country Mile's music is influenced from every corner of the music industry including: Lonestar, Keith Urban, Pink Floyd, CCR, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, The Late Johnny Cash and many more....They have never been like any other band. This is reiterated by new fans at every performance.
'I was impressed by the production of this disc [Lessons] but most of all the depth of the lyrical content. I downloaded a few songs and then visited their website where I saw that they are just what their ad here claims. Young and gifted. If this is only the second independent release, then their next release will not be independent. Thanks for the good songs and I hope to hear more from you.'
