Catch us if you can! By Design is an unsigned, female-fronted, rock band out of Virginia Beach. Labeled totally original, we infuse metal, pop, and punk influences into our upbeat, hard rock sound.

Band members include knock-‘em-dead, raven-haired rocker, Kristy Nightengale, who adds her own unique brand of lyrical sex appeal to the ensemble. Muj’s skillfull manipulation of the guitar strings is sure to answer the question, “What can brown do for you?” Rhythm guitarist, Kevin cleverly intensifies the metal element of By Design’s sound with his expert guitar-handling. Nick’s manipulation of the strings of the bass, create an undeniable punk-groove element. Forceful beats are punched out by Zach, whose artful drumming solidifies By Design’s sound.

By Design is set to hit the stage beginning March 17 at Gil’s Bar & Grill. It’s going to be one block-rockin’ party; make sure to be there!
