Burden Fly is a band that is newly relocated to the clearwater area. We originated in Atlanta,Ga in 1995. We have played all the major venues. The reason for the move was to get out of the Atlanta area. We wanted to live by the beach for a while, so hear we are.

When we first moved hear, we were without a bass player yet we continued to play shows. We went through a few bass players before we found Cori Karrish. We have since been recording our first full length cd titled 'something in the blood' It has been a great experience and it will be released in early August.

Playing live is definetly our thing. The music and the energy is what we strive for. When you come to a Burden Fly show you will have a since of energy that you havnt had since childhood. Singer, Dean Johanesson is a great lyrycist and one hell of a songwriter. His energetic behavior is intense and rivoting.

Burden FLy - A character of confrontation – everyone has or is a Burden Fly at some or many points in life. You will eventually have to confront things and things will confront you in your life, this is the only way of resolution, otherwise you collect flies
