We're the Brothers of Max Catharsis--a Seattle Based instrumental trio comprised of Joe Messer on Guitar, Ryan Farris on Bass, and Jay Jaskot on drums. We've been focused on creating music fused with rock, drum & bass, and jazz since we first originated, 5 years ago. Explorations of new, melodic soundscapes are commonplace in improvised sections of the songs, yet each has crafted, compositional spaces as well; tunes that can shift from the regal grace of chamber music, to roaring expressions of what the moment may bring. Altogether, we've taken bits from the music of the world and created a fresh, unique sound to call our own.
